Manor & equipment
Edit your existing character from the manor
You can enter the character editor during play from the manor. Update 1.03 adds body sliders and an option to cancel changes there, so an appearance experiment does not require deliberately starting a new run. Gear transmogrification is a separate service.

Make a deliberate edit
- Continue the character whose appearance you intend to change and use the manor’s character-editor interaction.
- Note or capture your current appearance if you want a visual reference. This is not an in-game saved preset.
- Adjust a small number of options and inspect the result.
- Use the documented cancel option if you do not want the changes. If you intend to apply them, read the current confirmation controls rather than guessing a hotkey.
Match an editor mismatch to its date
Version 1.05 lists a fix for character parameters differing between editor and gameplay; 1.06 adjusts body-slider names and the editor interface. The October 27 developer reply also says a requested extra slider was not technically workable, while thigh volume could be changed. These are specific statements, not a promise that every desired shape control exists.
Cancel, presets and saving are different abilities
The 1.03 cancel option protects against unintended edits while in that manor editor. It does not establish a library of shareable presets or independent character-build save slots. In the October 25 reply about saving character-creation settings, the developer was considering that feature, not announcing it as available. Use save-system limits before starting over to test a new look.
Use equipment services for equipment changes
For an armor look, use transmogrification in the courtyard tower. Version 1.06 additionally announces equipment hiding, without documenting its controls. The October photo-mode replies describe consideration/planning; the reviewed notes do not verify an implemented photo-mode workflow. We do not substitute a guessed key for one.
The appearance task is complete when…
You have deliberately applied or canceled the intended edit to the existing character, and know whether any remaining difference concerns the body editor or equipped gear.
Sources & version
Source-based explanation; no independent gameplay or file-transfer test. Original source dates retain their scope. Later notes establish the changes they explicitly describe; silence is not proof that every mechanic stayed identical.
