Use the manor’s chests for stored items
The developer says items are saved in any chest at the estate. This October 24 Demo reply answers a player asking which hub chests are safe. It is not a claim that every loot chest in a repeatable combat location is permanent personal storage.

Identify the estate before storing gear
Use a chest in the manor/estate hub—the place the discussion calls the hub zone. Keep it separate from containers encountered on a raid. The official store calls Sunveil the main hub; our wording follows the storage reply’s estate context.

A cautious first deposit
- At an estate chest, use its inventory interaction to move an item you can identify into storage. The source does not establish a universal transfer key, so follow the prompts in your build.
- Close and reopen that chest to check the item appears in its stored contents. This confirms your transfer, not future persistence.
- End the session normally and, when you next play, check the stored item and quantity. The developer’s persistence statement is the basis for using these chests; we have not performed this check ourselves.
Why a raid chest can contain new loot
Update 1.04 says empty chests in replayed locations can receive random items; if they do not refill immediately, complete the location and check subsequent playthroughs. That is a loot-reset rule. Do not substitute it for the developer’s separate answer about storing your own items in estate chests.
Do not infer extra inventory features
The October 24 reply says stack splitting was not available then. The later “Done” reply refers specifically to replacing sell-only junk with crafting materials, not every suggestion in the post. The reviewed 1.05/1.06 notes do not establish that stack splitting was added. We also have no evidence of automatic crafting access to stored items or an unlimited storage capacity.
If a stored item is missing
Check that you reopened the same estate chest and that you are continuing the same character. Record the build, chest, item and before/after quantity. Stop moving valuable items until you understand the difference; an unexpected result should be documented, rather than “fixed” by deleting saves. If your whole run changed, use the save-system checks.
Your storage check is complete when…
You have identified an estate chest, confirmed the deposit and know where to check it after continuing the same run. Raid chest refills and crafting access are separate questions.
